Why me
It is easy to not read a newspaper column. No assignment, no grade, no boss checking. The reader owes you nothing.
For years mine ran in eleven papers across the country, and people read it. Not because they had to. Because every sentence earned the next one.
Your readers sit in the same seat. Your investor update, your chapter three, your Tuesday newsletter, all of it competes with a phone in the other hand. Length is not the enemy. Slack is. Every limp word is a place to put the page down.
My job is to take what you meant, find it under what you wrote, and hand it back sharp enough to hold.
What I do
You send the draft. I return it tightened, sentence by sentence, with every change explained so you can make the next one yourself.
For the writing that pays the bills. Emails, memos, proposals and updates rebuilt to be read on the first pass, not the third.
Ongoing coaching for people who publish on a schedule. Newsletters and columns that readers open on purpose, week after week.
Maximum meaning. Minimum words.
The entire method, in four words.
Who this is for
You do not need to be a novelist. You need something worth saying and a reader who can walk away.
How it works
Three passes — the same three a page goes through on its way to print.
Send up to 1,000 words. Twenty free minutes on a call, and I tell you exactly where readers are letting go.
I work the piece line by line — cutting, resequencing, sharpening — and mark why each change earns its place.
You get the tightened draft plus the pattern behind the fixes, so the next thing you write needs less of me.
